Use of the site

The calculators and articles are free for personal, educational and non-commercial use. You may quote short passages with a link back. Please do not copy the site wholesale or scrape it automatically.

Third-party data

The Hebrew lexicon data is from the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible Project and is licensed CC BY 4.0. The English word list is Alan Beale’s 12dicts, which is in the public domain. Our processed versions of that data are available on the same terms. See sources and licences.

No warranty

We work to keep the calculations and dates correct and test them, but the site is provided “as is”, without any warranty. Hebrew dates for religious observances can depend on local custom and on the exact time of sunset. Confirm dates for ceremonies and memorials with your rabbi or community.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including decisions based on a calculated date or value.
